Bristol Phoenix is a cricket club which is open to all women and girls. Formed in September 2008 from the female sections of Chipping Sodbury CC, Shirehampton CC and Thornbury CC, its aim is to provide opportunities for women and girls who live in the North Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas to join a club dedicated to the development of women's and girls' cricket.
In the 2012 season, we will again be fielding two adult teams in local and regional cricket, as well as teams in the Bristol Youth League at Under 13 and Under 15. Our First XI will play in the newly formed South West Premier League, whilst our Second XI will play in both the Gloucestershire Womens' County League and the Somerset Womens' County League.We will also be entering a team in the Gloucestershire Under 13 and Under 15 girls' leagues. We remain very keen to promote cricket in the area and also to recruit new players of all ages. We have a full compliment of experienced and qualified coaches dedicated to the development of women's and girls' cricket.
